Below are drop spindles that I have made using colorful cds of no longer used software. Recycling at its best and a very affordable way to handspin your own yarn. Moving the cd to the top near the hook makes it a top-whorl spindle. Moving the cd to the bottom makes it a bottom-whorl spindle, allowing you to choose which works best for your own handspinning. At such an affordadable price, you can have more than one cd filled with different colors or types of yarn you are spinning. If you would like a plain drop spindle with no color, simply turn the cd upside down. Choose your drop spindle using the number on the upper right of each group. |
